It feels as though I've been making art since the time I realized my hands were a part of my body.  Making art is more about who I am than what I do.  Art fills a need in me for expression that goes beyond words.  Making art, creating, is where I feel most whole.  I hope that the pieces I create not only satisfy something in me, but also connect with others in a powerful way. The first time I received payment for a massage was when I was 5 years old...5 cents for a shoulder rub.  I have always loved working with my hands and exploring through touch.  Bodywork seems to be a natural extension of and a perfect complement to sculpting in clay.
